IJA SupplementSince 2011, the NHCA has organized and edited an annual supplemental issue of the International Journal of Audiology (IJA), highlighting the breadth and depth of research presented at the NHCA’s Annual Conferences. Through the world-wide reach of the IJA, the NHCA IJA supplement extends the reach of information, innovative ideas, and practical experience shared at our conference with a broader audience and promotes the prevention of noise-induced hearing loss and tinnitus on a global level. The NHCA is grateful for the ongoing financial support and other contributions provided by the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC), the Department of Defense Hearing Center of Excellence (DoD HCE), and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). The NHCA especially thanks Thais Morata and Deanna Meinke for their leadership initiating this activity as a partnership with the Safe-in-Sound Excellence in Hearing Loss Prevention Award, and William Murphy, for the long-term support from NIOSH. The IJA is one of many initiatives lead through partnerships of the NHCA, NIOSH, CAOHC, and DoD HCE, with the overarching goal to advance the dissemination of best practices for the hearing loss prevention community. Conference supplements would not have been possible without the additional financial underwriting provided by a number of commercial sponsors over the many years of this publication, who are acknowledged and thanked below. We sincerely appreciate the confidence and commitment of our sponsors, and the time and efforts of our guest editors and contributing authors. Sponsors
